Voices of Humanity has Launched!

The Voices of Humanity – Order Out of Chaos discussion has launched.   With each new moon, beginning on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2016, we will send our crowd-sourced messages to Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, the Executive Director of UN Women. Add your voice at voh.gts.intermix.org.

Our Razoo crowdfunding page is now up in coordination with the May 3, 2016 Silicon Valley Gives crowdfunding. Please click in and be a supporter ($10) and share on facebook or twitter.

See the messages that were elected to be sent to Dr Mlambo-Ngcuka on March 8, 2016: http://voicesofhumanity.org/order-out-of-chaos-march-8-2016. These messages reflect very well the goal of the project: human unity with gender equality built in. Now we need to bring in more participants.

Each lunar month, participants write short messages and trade them around to be read and rated. At the new moon, the highest rated messages from the women, the men, youth, middle-aged, seniors and overall are published as the Voices of Humanity.

The Order Out of Chaos discussion will remake the way humanity sees itself. The monthly winners will be consistently intelligent, generous and magnanimous, building a sense of human unity that has gender equality built in.

A specific local-to-global strategy informs VoH outreach efforts. We are asking local groups to read one of the winning messages from the previous month at meetings. Messages are 150 words max, so it doesn’t take a lot of time to read one. Here is the all important Readership List that our new strategy depends on. Contact Roger Eaton for questions at 415 933 0153 or rogerweaton@gmail.com. The author of the overall winner each month can designate an organization from the Readership List to receive USD 200 from the Voices of Humanity project.

If just 100 local groups from around the world can be persuaded to participate, then the initiative will take off. And yes, we can persuade 100 groups to participate!
