The Voices of Humanity Social Media, aka InterMix or sometimes VoH, is meant to remake the way humanity sees itself, giving us an all-inclusive global consciousness that has gender equality built in. Voices of Humanity is more than technology — it is also a highly ambitious project. The idea is to empower our common humanity while respecting our differences. Yes, we love our nations and religions and won’t give them up, but so, too, we see that we are all one human family.
The beta test of InterMix Voices of Humanity Social Media has concluded with good results. Our number one direction now will be to engage the existing social media. We are considering what topic might best attract diverse people from all lands. And we have established a Voices of Humanity Ambassadors program.
At the same time, we will continue to develop our outreach to UNAs globally leading up to International Women’s Day 2014, when we will go global and use our VoH social media to send two messages to Phumzile Mlamno-Nguka, the new Executive Director of UN Women, one from the participating women and one from the men.
