Voices of Humanity (VoH) is a project of CCI and UNA-USA San Francisco Chapter. We are in alpha testing as of June, 2013. To participate in the upcoming beta test, contact rogerweaton@gmail.com. When our tests are complete, we will begin using the InterMix VoH software both as our listserve and as our collective “voice” in the social media world. We will be looking to involve Bay Area women’s groups and UNA-USA chapters in a major outreach effort to send a bottom-up collective message to the Executive Director of UN Women.
The VoH software gives a collective voice to participating groups and goes on to involve the groups in a joint discussion where the memberships are recombined to create six “Voices of Humanity” – the Voice of Women, Men, Youth, Experience (middle-age), Wisdom (seniors) and the Voice of Humanity as One. Frankly this is all experimental, but we think we can make it go both in the Bay Area and then nationally and globally to make a difference for the better in this world which really needs to get itself together. We are taking it step by step – stay tuned and please do participate when we get things going in the Spring. Please join up UNA-SF at unausa.org/membership.
